Chinese grenade recovered at Barari Pora Chowk in Srinagar

A Chinese grenade was recovered in Barari Pora Chowk area of Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir on 14 October morning.

As per reports, the grenade was hurled by militants at the 49 Battalion on Friday evening which did not explode. Later on, the entire area was sealed and a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was summoned.

The grenade was removed from the spot and an hour later, traffic and other activities in the area resumed

A month ago, three civilians including a woman, were killed and 39 others including some security personnel, were injured in a grenade blast in Tral area of Pulwama District.
