Chandrayaan-3: First Mission to Land Successfully on the South Pole with the Lowest Budget
Bina (Madhya Pradesh): A seminar was organized on Friday at the Government Postgraduate College and Government Law College to commemorate National Space Day. Principal Dr. Rekha Baretha said that this day is celebrated in memory of Chandrayaan-3's success, which landed successfully on the South Pole on August 23, 2023, with the lowest budget.
Dr. ML Soni stated that this mission is a significant part of our national education policy, which is rooted in Indian traditional knowledge. Prof. RS Tiwari expressed his views on the relationship between space science and nature, urging students to remain connected with nature and environmental conservation.
Subject expert Gaurav Nailwal said that from a scientific perspective, this mission has been a success, and our scientists have enhanced India's prestige globally. Rajesh Mahaur provided information on the significant changes taking place in our society due to space science.
On this occasion, an essay and painting competition were also organized. Nmrata Baghel, Palak Khateek, and Yashaswini Jayswal won the essay competition, while Mukti Malik, Misbah Anam, Sankriti Namdev, and Hina Kushwaha won the painting competition.
The event was attended by Mohammed Rafiq Sheikh, Dr. Neelam Singh, Dr. Mahendra Kumar Patel, Deepika Dixit, Shweta Dubey, Sumit Mishra, Dr. Rakesh Pandey, Dr. Varun Shukla, Dr. Bhagatsingh Thakur, and Sunil Ojha, among others.
