The newly elected Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister making a controversial remark over the brutal rape and murder case of Jammu's Kathua said, it is a minor case and not to make it a big issue.
"It is a minor incident. Such things do happen and they shouldn't be blown up so much. We should ensure justice," he said.

After few hours taking oath as The Deputy CM of Jammu and Kashmir Mr Gupta delivered the controversial statement on the horrific Kathua rape and murder case.
Amidst brutal rape and murder case in Jammu's Kathua district triggered a series of issues, the Saffron party decided to bring major cabinet reshuffle in the J&K government. The Mehbooba Mufti-led Jammu and Kashmir government's Cabinet reshuffle took place on Monday noon.
Speaker Kavinder Gupta took the charge as Deputy CM replacing Nirmal Singh from J&K's Deputy CM post. The former J&K Deputy CM saud, "I have resigned from the post to pave the way for a new deputy chief minister in the state," Singh told news agencies.
Nirmal Singh is said to have good terms with CM Mehbooba, who had backed her decision to stick to a Crime Branch probe in Kathua case.
The brutal rape and murder case of Jammu's Kathua has triggered a nation-wide outrage against the sexual violence against women and quizzing about the security of the minors and womens in the country.
