BJP on Smriti Irani's victory from Amethi: Gone are the days of dynastic politics

As Lok Sabha election results have been declared and BJP leader Smriti Irani witnessed a massive victory from Amethi over Rahul Gandhi on Thursday. For the first time in history, Congress has lost from Amethi which was their fortress. Amethi was the playground of the Gandhi family since Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have won the seat from the longest years, but this time Smriti Irani has outed Gandhi family from Amethi.

For the first time, BJP was able to unfurl their flag in Congress’s constituency. While celebrating BJP’s victory at Khan Market, senior BJP leader Ram Madhav congratulated Smriti Irani and said that the days of dynastic politics are over. Long gone are the days of doing politics in name of their father and grandfather.

Madhav also congratulated Narendra Modi and said that he is the biggest symbol and representative of the politics of accountability and responsibility in the new norm. He also added that with this a new political ideology and culture is strengthening its root in the country.

Madhav on celebrating BJP’s victory in Khan Market said that people think that this place is for a different set of people so their workers chose this place for celebration as new political ideology and culture is strengthening its root in the country.
