Bengaluru traffic police hurl a shoe at bikers who ditched helmet; video goes viral

Always the traffic official instructs people to wear a helmet for their security but riders ignore it that results worst sometimes. Earlier Hyderabad Traffic cops in a creative and sarcastic way trolled the bikers who ditched helmets by throwing e-challan on them on their official Twitter handle along with the photographs. Now, Bengaluru, police goes a step ahead by throwing shoes on the bikers who didn't wear helmets.

A fellow rider recorded the incident that went viral resulting policeman's suspension after the clip went viral on the internet. In the video, the traffic constable can be seen hurling a shoe at two bikers for not wearing a helmet. The video shows how two policemen standing spot two bikers passing without helmets. Immediately one of the cops takes off his shoe and aims at them. While the bikers try to duck, it hits one of them. They drive away without stopping.

The fellow rider behind them who recorded was the Bengaluru-based YouTuber Rishabh Chatterjee who filmed it for his blog on Bengaluru roads. According to Chatterjee, the incident happened at BEL road on February 20 earlier this year. Many on social media spotted the policeman's stunt after which the footage went viral.

"I do love BTP for the great work they do. But this is absolutely dangerous for both cop and rider. Please share with BTP Fb.. Throwing things is no way to handle things.. They could have made a note of number plate and fined him instead," a user commented.

Another wrote, "Why he just cannot stop him and ask to pay fine instead of taking law into his own hands and risk bikers life also."

"He didn't have rights to throw, he can note the number and send notice," a third commented.
