Assembly Election 2018: From 'Achhe din aayenge' to 'Chowkidaar Chor Hai,' here's how Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Modi over corruption during a rally in MP
As the State Assembly election of Madhya Pradesh approaches, the attacks by the Opposition leaders will get scathing against the ruling BJP. Today, Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized the policies of PM Narendra Modi.
Rahul was addressing a rally in Khargone in MP, where he asked the Prime Minister that where are the ‘acche din’ and why hasn’t it come yet. He even had asserted earlier that he is more Hindu than any BJP leader, after the latter had asked for his ‘gotra’ and whether he is a ‘Janeyudhari’.
Today, Rahul Gandhi asserted that if Congress comes to power, the work will be done and people will see it. “Indore is no less than Mumbai. Go to US & ask someone names of 4-5 Indian cities. They'll say Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi&Mumbai. Why not Indore? Go to US after 5 yrs, Indore will be in the list, Congress will work&show you. The same will be done for Bhopal,” he said.
Gandhi also said that, “Earlier the slogan was 'Achhe Din'... Modi ji used to say 'Achhe Din', public used to say 'Aaenge'. Then came 'Suit Boot ki sarkar'. The next was 'Suit Boot Jhooth ki Sarkar' now the slogan is 'Suit Boot Jhooth aur Loot ki Sarkar.”
Rahul Gandhi added that “First the slogan was 'Achhe Din Aaenge', now it is 'Chowkidaar Chor Hai.' How did this happen? How did we reach from 'Achhe Din Aaenge' to 'Chowkidaar Chor Hai' in 4 years? Whose magic is it? This is Narendra Modi ji's magic”
