Terrifying image shows unidentified creature roaming Texas zoo; netizens stumped

A zoo in Texas has put out pictures online that have left many netizens baffled. The image, caught by security camera, displays an unidentified creature wandering through the zoo. The unknown creature is also seen standing on two legs but with pointy ears and what appears to be a mane. The creature is seen outside the zoo's enclosure.

The City of Amarillo in Texas, took to Facebook and wrote, “The Amarillo Zoo captured a strange image outside the zoo in the dark and early morning hours of May 21 (around 1:25 a.m.). Is it a person with a strange hat who likes to walk at night? A chupacabra? Do you have any ideas of what this UAO- Unidentified Amarillo Object could be?”

The zoo’s director has stated that no animals or individuals were injured, and there were no signs of unlawful activity or encroachment. As per the security footage the image is from 21st May at 1:30 pm.

The Texas zoo has urged local resident to email their theories of what they believe the creature could be.

Earlier, another video from a zoo in Indonesia was extensively shared which displays a man approaching an orangutan enclosure. The orangutan, who does not seem to like the presence of the visitor, reaches out and grabs the man's t-shirt forcefully. The ape refuses to let go as another visitor approaches to help the man. The orangutan then even grabs on to the visitor's leg and refuses to free it.

According to the zoo’s officials, the man had allegedly crossed over a barrier that was intended to keep visitors away from the enclosure of the orangutan.
