'Pencil, Maggi costlier': 6-year-old girl's letter to PM Modi goes viral
A 6-year-old girl wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and talked about the issues she was experiencing because of the rise in the prices of pencils and Maggi. The letter was written by a little girl, identified as Kriti Dubey from Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj, and the letter has not gone viral.
Kriti Dubey is a resident of Chhibramau in Uttar Pradesh. She wrote a letter of PM Modi in Hindi and mentioned her problems.The now-viral letter translated in English reads, “My name is Kriti Dubey. I study in class 1. The prices of some things have increased immensely. Even my pencil and eraser have become costly and the price of Maggi has been increased, too. Now, my mother beats me if I ask for a pencil. What shall I do? Other students also steal my pencil.”
In the meantime, the price of Maggi has risen to Rs 14 for a 70 gram packet and Rs 7 for a 32 gram packet.
The letter was addressed to “Pradhan Mantri Ji” and was uploaded on Twitter by Aroone Harry.

The six-year-old’s father, identified as Vishal Dubey, who is an advocate by profession, said, “It’s my daughter’s 'Mann ki Baat'. She got annoyed recently when her mother scolded her for losing a pencil at school.”
