According to the study by travel company Florida4Less, over 1.5 million people in the United Kingdom named after Disney characters.
It has been noticed that people are inspired with the characters of Disney and hence, they selected names from animated classics movies like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Toy Story, and Beauty and the Beast.
The study also revealed that most of the parents in the UK named their child after a Disney character were 18 to 34 years, with three in 10 being pro-Disney, mirror.co.uk reported.
On the contrary, 16 percent of UK citizens said that they found it a nice and unique idea to give a name to their child after a Disney character.
The most popular names from Disney’s character is Jasmine from the 90s show Aladdin followed by Toy Story favorite Rex and Beauty and the Beast’s Belle.

According to the study by Florida4Less, 12 percent of men said they’d choose a Disney-inspired baby name, compared to just eight percent of women.
As per the Florida4Less director, Martin Berens, "Many of us can share the story behind our name and it’s fascinating to learn that so many from the UK were named after a character in their parents’ favourite Disney film.
"But while more than a quarter (26 percent) say they’d consider naming their child after a character from a film, book or TV show, including Disney, three in ten told us they think too many non-traditional names are being given to children.
"It’ll be interesting to see how attitudes change in the future."
