Congress Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor MP shared pictures that showed a hands-free sanitizer facility in Kerala. Tharoor also praised the man who installed this facility.
Shashi Tharoor posted the picture with a caption, “Delighted that AIPC Kerala Secretary @sudheerpmna created a hands-free sanitizer dispenser for passers-by in Kochi yesterday. With his @ProfCong colleagues Suneet &Eldho he devised a foot-operated dispenser. @chennithala #CleanHandsChallenge.”
The benefit of this foot pedal-operated handwashing facility is that people won’t require to touch the sanitizer.
As per AIPC, the hands-free sanitizer facility was installed at Fort Kochi to help people in a bid to stop the coronavirus transmission.
According to the pictures shared by AIPC, it can be seen that a basin was installed in the drum and tap and foot pedal installed to pump water, to make the facility functional. The facility also had a soap dispenser.
