UPSC Recruitment 2020: Vacancies released for Engineers; salary up to Rs 2 lakh

The Uttar Pradesh Service Commission, UPSC has invited application form for the posts of Foreman (Electrical), Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics), Senior Scientific Assistant (Metallurgy), and other posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form on or before October 29.

While the last date for printing of filled application form is October 30, 2020. Candidates are required to submit their online recruitment application at www.upsconline.nic.in.

Total posts- 44 vacancies

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery): 5
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Radio-Diagnosis): 28
• Foreman (Electrical): 5
• Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics): 5
• Senior Scientific Assistant (Metallurgy): 1

Eligibility criteria:

Foreman (Electrical):
Candidates need to hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University plus one-year experience in a relevant field.

Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics):
Aspirants should hold a degree in Electronics Engineering from any recognized University, including one-year experience in relevant field from a recognized organisation.

Interested candidates need to pay Rs 25 as an application fee.

Pay scale:

Selected candidates will get the salary according to the following posts:

• Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics): Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 to 1,42,400) (Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale Rs 44,900 plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
• Senior Scientific Assistant (Metallurgy): Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 to 1,42,400) (Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale Rs 44,900 plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery) (CTVS): Level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs 67,700-2,08,700) Plus NPA.
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Radio-Diagnosis): Level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs 67,700-2,08,700) Plus NPA.
• Foreman (Electrical): Level 7 (Rs 44,900 to 1,42,400) (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale Rs. 44900 plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
