SSC CHSL Recruitment 2019-20: Application window for 4893 vacancies to be closed soon

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon close its registration process for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) level examination. This year, SSC invited a total of 4893 vacancies for the post of LDC, JSA, PA/SA & DEO.

The last date for the SSC CHSL application process is January 10, 2020. Candidates who haven’t applied for the exam should submit now to avoid a last-minute rush.

The huge vacancies for the post of SSC CHSL were released on December 3, 2019. The application process will be done via online mode.

This year, the SSC CHSL exam 2019 will be held from March 16, 2020, to March 27, 2020. The exam will be done via Computer Based Test (CBT) at various exam centers across India.

Candidates who will clear SSC CHSL Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for SSC CHSL tier 2 on June 28, 2020.

Under this recruitment drive, the vacancies will be filled for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) in different ministries/department/offices of government of India and their Attached & Subordinate Offices.

Eligibility Criteria Required for SSC CHSL 2019:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates applying for the post of SSC CHSL 4893 vacancies must have qualified class 12th from a recognized board or university.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required for the post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation to reserved category will be given as per government norms.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will get the pay scale as per the following posts:

• Lower Division Clerk(LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant(JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs.
  19,900-63,200)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
• Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).

• Last date for making online fee payment: 12 January 2020 (23:59)
• Last date for generation of offline Challan: 12 January 2020 (23:59)
• Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 14 January 2020
• SSC CHSL 2019 Phase 1 Exam Date: 16 to 27 March 2020
• SSC CHSL 2019 Phase 2 Exam Date: 28 June 2020
