SBI Recruitment 2022: The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online application forms from Engineering graduates. Applicants who are willing to apply for the vacancies should check the eligibility criteria required for the recent recruitment drive released by the country’s largest bank.
The online application form was released on March 4, 2022, and the last date for the submission of the application form is 31 March 2022.

SBI Specialist Cadre Officers Recruitment 2022: Vacancy Details
Under this recruitment drive, SBI will fill vacancies under the specialist cadre officers for the posts of Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Deputy Chief Technology Officer (e-channels), Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking).

SBI Recruitment 2022: Educational Qualification Required
- Chief Information Officer- Bachelor or Master’s degree in software engineering or relevant field; MBA will be an added advantage
- Chief Technology Officer- Bachelor or Master’s degree in software engineering or relevant field; MBA will be an added advantage
- Deputy Chief Technology Officer (e-channels)- Bachelor or Master’s degree in software engineering or relevant field; MBA will be an added advantage
- Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking)- Bachelor or Master’s degree in software engineering or relevant field; MBA will be an added advantage
SBI Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
The selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews.
- Shortlisting: Candidates who will not fulfill the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank.
- Merit list: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in interviews only.

SBI Specialist Cadre Officers Recruitment 2022: Age limit
- For Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer posts- Maximum age limit is 55 years as of January 1, 2022.
- For Deputy Chief Technology Officer (e-channels), Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking) posts- Maximum age limit is 45 years as of January 1, 2022.
