RPSC recruitment 2022: Apply for Assistant Town Planner posts; details here

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to the Assistant Town Planner (ATP) posts. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of RPSC. The online application process starts on October 10 and the deadline to apply for the vacancies is November 9, 2022.

With this recruitment drive, the Commission aims to fill a total of 43 vacancies of Assistant Town Planner (ATP) in the Town Planning Department.

RPSC recruitment 2022: Age Limit

Candidates applying for the ATP posts should be between 20 years to 40 years of age as on January 1, 2023.

RPSC recruitment 2022: Educational Qualifications

Those applying for the post must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil)/Architecture/Planning with Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Urban/City/Regional Planning/Traffic and Transportation Planning or M.Tech. Two-year experience in the field of Town Planning is also mandatory. Check the official notification for more details. 

RPSC recruitment 2022: Application Fee

General and unreserved category candidates are required to pay Rs 350 as an application fee, whereas EWS/BC/EBC (non-creamy layer) will have to pay Rs 250. Reserved category candidates can pay Rs 150.

RPSC recruitment 2022: Selection Process

The Commission will shortlist candidates on the basis of written examination. The examination paper will carry 150 Multiple Choice Type questions of one mark each. The duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes.  “Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted,” said the official notification.
