Railway Recruitment 2021: New vacancies released for Group C posts; more details inside

Railway Recruitment 2021: Indian Railways has released a job opportunity for Group C posts on the official website of South Central Railway. Candidates who are looking for job opportunities in Railways can submit their application form on or before January 17, 2022.

South Central Railway has invited applications for the sports person against sports quota.

The online registration process has started on December 18. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form only through the South Central Railway’s official website-- scr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Under this recruitment drive, a total of 21 vacancies will be filled for the Group C post.

Eligibility Criteria Required:
Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have qualified the class 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI can apply for the post.

10th pass candidates with ITI will get the grade pay Rs 1900. For categories in Grade Pay Rs 2000/ Rs 1900 is 12th (+2 stage) or intermediate or equivalent examination.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit for the post is 25 years.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates. For game skill, physical fitness, and coach’s observation during trials, the maximum marks are 40, for assessment of recognized sports achievement as per norms, the maximum marks are 50 and educational qualification marks are 10.

Application Fees

For all categories, the application fee is Rs 500. For candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, women, minorities, and economically backward classes, the application fee is Rs 250/-.
