Indian Railways has opened its gate for those aspirants who are willing to be a part of Indian Railways. At the beginning of this year, Railway recruitment board has announced more than lakh jobs for the applicants and for these vacancies more than 2 crore applicants have applied for the various posts released by the Railways. RRB has announced the huge vacancies for Group C and D posts.
However, seats are limited for the aspirants who wanted to build to work with Railways. But the number of applications submitted by the applicants is just more than the number of seats. However, now registration process for these posts have been closed and now students are eagerly waiting for their admit cards so that the date will be finalized and they would be able to speed-up their preparation according to this.
Indian Railways has made various changes in the examination pattern as for the first time students will witness the online exam for Railways. Because of online mode of examination, students can easily give their examination as they don’t need to fill the OMR sheet which takes a lot of time or write the answers on paper sheets. However, they will allow the limited time for giving the examination but through the online exam, their extra manual efforts can be saved.
Reportedly, the world’s largest online exam will be conducted at 300 centres across the country. Well, the reason behind this step of Indian Railways is appreciable. Because of online tests, Railways can save 7.5 crore paper sheets which are equivalent nearly to 10 lakh trees.
Earlier, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also said that ‘Railways has replaced bulky, multi-lingual question booklets with online tests for its recruitment drive, which will save around 7.5 crore paper sheets, equivalent to 10 lakh trees.’
Meanwhile, online exam will also save further any question paper leak before the examination.
