Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021: New vacancies released for Grade C; know selection criteria details

IAF Recruitment 2021: Candidates looking for government jobs can apply for the latest recruitment drive released by Indian Air Force (IAF) on its official website.

The vacancies have been released for the posts in the Group C category. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form at indianairforce.nic.in.

India Air Force Group C Recruitment 2021: Vacancy Details

Total posts- 255 posts

Positions released under the Group C category are- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Store Superintendent, Store Keeper, House Keeping Staff (HKS), Mess Staff, LDC, Clerk Hindi Typist, Stenographer Grade-2, Laundryman, Aya / Ward Assistant, Cook(Ordinary Grade) and Fireman.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• LDC, Clerk Hindi Typist – 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University are eligible to apply.
  A typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on a manual typewriter. OR A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on a computer.
• Stenographer Grade-II – 12th pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University are eligible for the post.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), House Keeping Staff (HKS), Mess Staff – Candidates who have qualified class 10 or Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board can apply for the post.
• Store (Superintendent) – Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Store Keeper- 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
• Cook (Ordinary Grade) – 10th pass from recognized Board with a certificate or diploma in catering; One year experience in the trade.
• Laundryman, Ayah/Ward Sahayika(only for female candidates) -10th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
• Fireman – 10th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/university. The candidate should have undergone Fire Fighting training under a state fire service or a recognized institution.

Salary Details:

Candidates who will qualify for the exam will get the salary as per the following levels.

Level 1- 1- 18000 rupees per month.
Level-2- 19900 rupees.
Level- 4- 25500 rupees per month.

Important Dates:

• Date of Notification- Feb 11, 2021
• Closing Date to Apply Online- Mar 13, 2021
• Date of exam- April 18, 2021, to April 22, 2021

Age Limit:

• Minimum age – 18 years.
• Maximum age limit – 25 years.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the application and after that, a written test will be conducted. After qualifying written exam, candidates need to appear for the Skill Test/ Physical test/ Practical Examination as per the demand of the post.
