Income Tax Recruitment 2022: The Income Tax Department has released job opportunities for meritorious sportspersons. Eligible candidates can submit their application form after reading the official notification at incometaxindia.gov.in.
The online registration has already been started while the last date for the submission of the application form is April 18, 2022.
Under this recruitment drive, Income Tax Department will fill a total of 24 vacancies for the posts of Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff.

Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Income Tax Inspector -Degree of a recognized university I or equivalent
- Tax Assistant- (i) Degree of a recognized university or equivalent; and 5 (ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
- Multi-Tasking Staff- Matriculation or equivalent pass 18

Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Pay Scale
Income Tax Inspector
According to an official notification, “Pay Level 7 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs 46001- in P8-2 of Rs.9300-348001- of 6th CPC.”
Tax Assistant
As per the notification, "Pay Level 4 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.24001- in PB-I of Rs.5200-202001- of 6th CPC.”
Multi-Tasking Staff
"Pay Level I of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200/- of 6th CPC," the official notification said.
Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Here’s how to apply
Candidates need to send their duly filled application form in the prescribed format given in Annexure-II, to the Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Headquarters (Personnel & Establishment), 1st Floor, Room No. 14, Aayakar Bhawan, P-7, Chowringhee Square, Kolkata-700069 by post/hand.
