ICG Recruitment 2023: Apply for Navik posts; 10th pass eligible

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has started the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Navik (General Duty) and Navik (Domestic Branch). Interested candidates can visit the official website and apply for the posts.

The last date of the submission of the application form is February 16 by 6.00 pm.

With this recruitment drive, the ICG aims to fill a total of 255 vacancies, of which 225 vacancies are for the post of Navik (General Duty) and 30 for Navik (Domestic Branch).

ICG Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

To be eligible, candidates should be between 18-22 years of age. (Born between September 1, 2001, to August 31, 2005).

ICG Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification

Navik (General Duty): Candidates who have cleared class 12 with Maths and Physics can apply for the post

Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates who have cleared class 10 from a government recognized board are eligible to apply for the post.

ICG Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

General category candidates are required to pay Rs 300 as an application fee. Those belonging to SC/ST categories are exempted from paying the fees. It is to be noted that the ICG will issue the hall tickets only to those candidates who have successfully paid the exam fee.

ICG Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The Indian Coast Guard will shortlist candidates on the basis of: An all-India order of merit on their performance in Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test, Final Medicals at INS Chilka and Document Verification, and satisfactory performance in training at INS Chilka.

ICG Recruitment 2023: Pay Scale and Other Benefits

(a) Navik (General Duty). Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

(b) Navik(Domestic Branch). Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.

• On the homepage, search and click on ‘Join ICG as Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT)’ and then click on registration link for CGEPT-02/2023
• Register on the portal to proceed with the application process
• Fill the ICG Recruitment 2023 application form, pay the applicable fee and click on the submit button
• Take a printout of ICG Recruitment 2023 application form for future reference
