BPSC Recruitment 2020: No age limit for this post; apply before September 25

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited application forms for the post of Associate Professor posts. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form on or before September 25, 2020.

Under this recruitment drive, there is no age boundation for aspirants. Therefore, candidates need not worry about age criteria before applying to the post of Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering).

However, candidates need to complete the Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering before participating in the BPSC recruitment drive.

• Unreserved Category- 45 posts
• Economically Weaker Sections- 11 posts
• Schedule Caste- 17 posts
• Schedule Tribe- 1 post
• Backward Class- 14 posts
• Backward Class Women- 3 posts
• Extremely Backward Class- 20 posts

Application Fee:

• For general candidates: Rs 100/-
• For Bihar state Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes candidates- Rs 25/-
• For all Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Women candidates, permanent residents of Bihar State- Rs 25/-
• For Disabled candidates (40% or more)- Rs 25/-
• For all other candidates- Rs 100

BPSC Associate Professor: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to hold a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engg. and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor's or Master's level in Mechanical Engg.

Age Limit Required for BPSC Recruitment 2020 (as on August 1, 2020)

• Minimum age limit: 30 years
• Maximum age limit: No limit
• Retirement age: 65 years
