AP Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Apply for over 6000 posts; 12 pass eligible, salary upto 80000

The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has put out a notification for the recruitment of Police Constable posts. Candidates can visit the official website and check the recruitment notification.

The online application process will begin tomorrow, November 30, 2022. The last date for the submission of the application form is December 28.

With this recruitment drive, the APSLPRB aims to fill a total of 6,100 constable posts in the state police force. The 6,100 constable posts include 3,580 Police Constables (Civil) (Men and Women) and 2,520 Police Constables (APSP) (Men).

The AP Police Constable preliminary written exam will be conducted on January 22, 2023. The admit cards for the same will be issued from January 9 onwards. 

AP Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Educational Qualification

Candidates must have cleared Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a government-recognized board.

AP Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Age Limit

To be eligible, candidates should be between 18 to 24 years of age as of July 1, 2022. The Board has allowed an upper age limit relaxation for reserved categories.

AP Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Application fee

General category candidates are required to pay Rs 300 as an application fee, whereas those belonging to SC/ST category (Local) can pay Rs 150.

AP Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Selection Procedure

The Board will shortlist candidates on the basis of Written Test (Preliminary), Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test (Final).
