Watch: Rohit Sharma irritated with Shardul Thakur's send-off to Quinton de Kock
Indian Premier League is all about emotions but there is always a fine line which you are not suppose to cross. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was upset with Chennai Super Kings pacer Shardul Thakur when he gave a send-off to his opening partner Quinton de Kock.
After dismissing de Kock in the fifth over of the first innings, Shardul Thakur behaved in a way which was against the spirit of the game. Shardul signaled out to de Kock and started rotating his fingers. Rohit Sharma was not happy with his behaviour and went straight to the umpire Ian Gould.
Gould then came up to Shardul and had a word with him. de Kock was looking good before he was dismissed. He had already hit four maximums before getting out at 29 off 17 balls. de Kock started his blistering knock with his first six against Shardul, then he hit Deepak Chahar for three in the next over. When Shardul came in to bowl the fifth over he hit him once again, but the pacer got his revenge by taking his wicket.
Shardul also dismissed Krunal Pandya in the thirteenth over when he bowled and took and amazing catch after covering a lot of distance. Shardul was awarded the catch of the match award for his blinder.
Mumbai Indians won the finals against Chennai Super Kings by just 1 run to record their fourth IPL win and become the most successful team in the tournament.
