According to CNN, the shootings happened at a restaurant and bowling alley in Lewiston on Wednesday night (local time).
Locations of the Tragedy
Two shootings occurred at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation, a local bowling alley, according to the police.
Manhunt Underway
In Lewiston, the state's second-largest city, situated about 36 miles north of Portland, law enforcement is currently conducting a manhunt for a suspect.
Police identified Robert Card, 40, as a person of interest in the shooting, adding he should be “considered armed and dangerous."
Residents Urged to Stay Safe
Maine State Police have issued a request for residents to stay indoors and shelter in place as the situation is still ongoing.
