The former US first lady Michelle Obama wants to meet the newborn at Kensington Palace "pajama party"
Kate Middleton and Prince William have been receiving wishes from across the world since yesterday when the newest royal baby arrived.
From politicians to celebrities have been sending their warm wishes two the couple and the royal families. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the name of the new royal.
One of the messages received by the royal family was from the former US first lady Michelle Obama. She not only congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but also expressed her wish to meet the little baby soon at a "Kensington Palace pajama party".
She said in a tweet, " Barack and I are thrilled to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their newest arrival! We hope to meet him soon for a Kensington Palace pajama party. I’ll wear my robe!"
She even posted a picture of her along with a picture of Prince George, wearing pajamas and a fancy bathrobe.
Several other world leaders gave their warm wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
British Prime Minister Theresa May gave her wishes, she tweeted, "My warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy. I wish them great happiness for the future."
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan also tweeted, "On behalf of Londoners, I want to send our warmest congratulations to the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy."
Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau congratulated the royal family. He tweeted, "Canada welcomes a baby boy to the Royal Family! Sophie and I send our congratulations to William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and to George and Charlotte on the new arrival."
Later on Monday after the royal baby was born, Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped outside St. Mary's Hospital to introduce their baby boy to the world.
