Texas doctor bought jet, Maserati with money from fake chemotherapy cases

A Texas doctor Zamora Quezada bought a six-seater Eclipse 500 business jet for $50 million with countless chemotherapy treatment for arthritis.

He is accused by the Justice Department for doing unnecessary procedures and prescribing costly medication. A row of investigation has proved that he along with his co-conspirators are involved in nearly $240 million health-care fraud and money-laundering.

He can land in prison for decades. In a statement, CJ Porter, a special agent with the Department of Health and Human Services' said," His patients trusted him and presumed his integrity; in return, he allegedly engaged in a scheme of false diagnoses and bogus courses of treatment ... with no regard for patient well-being,"

In 2006, he was accused of prescribing a drug "inconsistent with public health and welfare" and of "billing for treatment that was improper, unreasonable, or medically or clinically unnecessary."

However, then he settled the case with a fine of $30,000.
