Syria War: United States, Britain and France launches missile strike Syria but avoid larger conflict with Russia

On Saturday the United States, Britain and France carried out a joint operation against the chemical attack by Syria. This is the second time that the US has waded into Syria in seven-year conflict.

NATO allies targeted three place which includes Syrian capital Damascus with cruise-missile-equipped ships and warplanes. On Friday Trump said, "We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents."

Calling the attack severe than last year, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis said, " The scale of the attacks was larger than the one last year, which only struck one Syrian airbase. This time with our allies, we have struck harder. Together we have sent a clear message to Assad and his murderous lieutenants that they should not perpetrate another chemical weapons attack.”

To avoid bigger conflict they tried not to hit Russian troops stationed in Syria shared Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Joseph Dunford. He said, "Right now, this is a one-time shot designed to set back the Syrian war machine’s ability to produce chemical weapons.”

This counterstrike comes six days after chemical weapons against locals outside Damascus, killing at least 42 adults and children.
