In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by 30 men in the Red Sea resort of Eilat in Israel.
The shameful incident has sparked rage in the country. According to the reports, the alleged perpetrators said to be in their early 20s.
They committed the crime by standing in a queue outside the minor’s hotel bedroom and then raped her one-by-one in an inebriated condition.
The gang-rape case has prompted protests in several Israeli cities on Thursday.
However, the girl somehow reported the alleged crime to Eilat police last week but it had gone unnoticed then.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “It's shocking -- there's no other word for it.” He also said that all the suspects to be put on trial.
"It's not only a crime against a young girl, it's a crime against humanity itself that deserves condemnation from all of us."

"These are cases of unforgivable loss of boundaries, and they destroy us as a society. As humans."
