Pakistan Shocker: 22-year-old youth sexually harassed by two students

In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old youth was allegedly sexually harassed by two persons in the hostel of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

According to media reports, the victim, who is said to be from the Quaid-i-Azam University went to meet the two accused in the hostel. However, the two students allegedly gang-raped the youth.

The heinous incident was also confirmed by the IIUI Rector Masoon Yasinzai. He informed that the victim had met the two accused through social media. Reportedly, the incident took place on Friday morning.

The victim was spotted by the security guards who were present at the spot when the youth stepped out from the hostel and collapsed on the floor.

The youth was rushed to the hospital. The incident was confirmed when a raid was conducted at the hostel. During the investigation, it was found that the two accused had allegedly been residing in the room even it was assigned to another person.

Meanwhile, both the accused were rusticated after the incident and the services of the head of the Students Disciplinary Committee were also terminated from his post, Dawn reported.

According to the rector, the survivor didn’t want to take action against the two accused, Yasinzai said.

The rector told that a detailed report of the incident will be presented to him, following which, he will take necessary action.

"I will make an example out of everybody responsible for this shameful act, " Yasinzai said.
