Father tried to sell 4-year-old daughter, sentenced to 60 years
On Friday, Andrew James Turley was convicted to 60 years for trafficking a child and for indulging into prostitution of someone under the age of 18, the Houston Chronicle reported.
The authorities said, " He posted an advertisement on Craigslist to sell his then-4-year-old daughter for sex." He was sentenced after a jury in Harris County, Texas, convicted him of trafficking a child.
In 2015, Turley posted an advertisement on Craigslist called “Play with Daddie’s Little Girl”. This act caught Houston Police Department's attention, they exchanged emails with Turley who told them he had “a girl younger than 10” who he could drug with “sleep meds” before the meeting, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office said.

Turley told the officers that his daughter is too young for an intercourse but everything else was OK”. He charged $US1000 ($1300) for two hours to the officers. One of the officer went to the Houston apartment to meet Turley and his daughter. Turley didn't know that the client was an undercover police officer.
The officer agreed to pay the cash and visited the girl, she was in a bedroom lying on the bed and was completely under the influence of an unknown substance’,” the attorney’s office said.
Assistant District Attorney Stewanna Miskell, said the case “broke her heart.” “A father is supposed to be a protector not a predator. Jurors saw the need to keep him out of our community."
Turley won't be eligible for parole until he's 75.
