Earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hits Tajikistan

An earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hit Tajikistan on March 19, National Center for Seismology said. The quake hit the central Asian country at around 11:31am (IST).

It struck at a depth of 170 kilometres at a latitude of 37.85 and a longitude of 73.47.

On February 23, an earthquake of 6.8 magnitude has hit eastern Tajikistan. The quake struck early morning at around 5:37 am local time. It struck at the depth of 20.5 kilometres.
