A 25-year-old Former Zimbabwe national tennis player and to be bride Zanele Ndlovu who lost her right arm in a crocodile attack a day before her wedding got married on the same wedding date at the hospital chapel in the presence of the family and friends.

The couple was canoeing in the Zambezi River above the Victoria Falls when the giant Nile crocodile mulled her right arm torn off and bit her left arm.

Although the bridegroom Brit Jamie Fox tried helping his to-be-bride, she had lost a lot of blood and saving her life was merely impossible.

She was immediately taken to a hospital near Victoria Falls and later taken to Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo where the operation was done and she had to amputate what was left. Despite the terrible attack the couple decided to tie the knot rather than wallowing in grief.

So, as decided they married five days after the attack at the hospital chapel in front of family and friends.

Wearing a beautiful white gown, Zanele looked mesmerizing.

Zanele said: "I spent a lot of time preparing for my wedding day. I didn’t know that fate would have me being wed in a hospital chapel with one limb missing,"

She also added that she was not complaining but she is so happy that despite all odds she married and got a wonderful life partner.
