UP Shocker: 60-year-old woman abducted, gangraped over land dispute

In a horrifying incident of crime reported from Uttar Pradesh, a group of four men allegedly kidnapped a 60-year-old woman, gangraped her and applied chilli powder in her private parts before tying her up and throwing her in bushes over a land row.

The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. On saturday, the accused kidnapped the woman when she was fast asleep. They took her to an isolated area, where they allegedly gangraped the elderly woman. The brutality didn’t stop here.

The accused rubbed chilli powder in the woman’s private parts and fastened her hands and legs. After that, they threw her in the bushes. The accused threatened the victim against telling anyone about the horrific incident and ran away. A maintained by a report in The Times of India.

Following day, the elderly woman was found in an unconscious state in the bushes. Her family rushed to the spot and took her to the district hospital for treatment. The cops, after being informed about the case, arrived at the hospital to record the victim’s statement. The woman, in her statement accused her neighbours – Sewa Lal and Bharat Kushwaha – of committing the crime. She said that the two were forcing her leave her house and land, adding that they had assaulted her recently.

According to police, Sewa Lal and Bharat Kushwaha have been taken into police custody and efforts are underway to arrest their abetter. “In her statement, the rape survivor said the pereptrators rubbed a burning substance like chilli in her private parts after the sexual assault. Medical examination of the woman has been done and medica report is awaited,” the report quoted SP Sudha Singh as saying.

In another incident, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by three people on Sunday. After a compliant by the victim’s mother, police quickly acted and nabbed the accused. The three accused kidnapped the teenager from her village. They took her to a hotel and gangraped her. Later, they dumped her on the highway and ran away.
