UP: Man kills shop owner over a petty reason in Aligarh
In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old man has been killed in a crowded market in the Civil Lines area of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the news agency, PTI, the man got killed after he allegedly refused to lend Rs 200 to an acquaintance.
The incident took place in UP’s Aligarh on Saturday. The deceased man identified as Ansar Ahmad, who was a father of three children and owner of a tyre repair shop in the Civil Lines area.
Ahmad got killed on Saturday by an accused name Asif, police said on Sunday.

Superintendent of Police (City) Abhishek Kumar told reporters that the accused is a drug addict and managed to escape from the spot after committing the crime.
The incident happened when Asif approached Ahmad wanting to lend his motorcycle, however, Ahmad denied to give him, police said.
Later in the day, the accused again approached Ahmad’s shop and demanded Rs 200 from him. Once again Ahmad refused and then Asif took out a country-made pistol from his pocket and shot Ahmad in the head.
After committing the crime, Ahmad picked up a two-wheeler parked nearby and fled from the spot.
