UP horror: 13-year-old gangraped at secluded school, four others filmed act

A horrifying incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur district on Wednesday, where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two men at a secluded school, police said.

According to media reports, the heinous crime incident was also filmed by other four men. Police have arrested all the six youths involved in the appalling incident.  

The shocking incident took place around 2:00 pm within the limit of the Misrikh police station area in Sitapur, the police said.

According to the Superintendent of Police L R Kumar told News18, “the 13-year-old girl was on her way back home after relieving herself when she was forcibly taken to a secluded school building by the six youths.”

He also added that out of the six, two youths have raped the girl while the other four recorded the act on their mobile phones.

The accused youths also threatened the girl with dire if she revealed about the incident to anyone.

The accused were from the same locality of the victim, police told.

Meanwhile, all six of them have been arrested and are now being interrogated.

A case has been registered under the relevant section of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act," Kumar added.

The girl has been sent for medical examination, he said.
