UP Honour Killing: Man murders daughter, burns girl's body after seeing her with boy

A horrific news was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad where a father murdered his 13-year-old daughter after he found her with a neighbourhood boy.

The incident came to light when an unknown caller informed the police on Monday about the incident. The police immediately swung into action and arrested the girl’s mother while other family members are absconding.

As per the reports, the father murdered his minor daughter and then cremated her body to avoid any police suspicion. When police reached the crime spot they recovered the burnt remains of the victim and have sent them for autopsy.

The girl who was a class 7 student was mercilessly killed by her father as she was talking with the boy in the neighbourhood. Well, it’s a shame that after so many years such practices like honour killing is taking place. Though the society has progressed a lot however there are still who practice patriarchy as a norm and where a woman is considered as private property.

Police have arrested the girl’s mother who was a witness to the crime and has booked the other family members. Police have started the search operation to nab the criminals.
