A recent development coming in from Uttar Pradesh, a gory dead body of a 17-year-old boy with his throat slit was found in a field along the roadside in Deoria on Friday.

Based on the first impression, it appeared that he had been brutally killed by slitting his throat with a sharp edged weapon.

The accused had also chopped off the victim’s fingers of his hands and toes and disposed the lifeless body on the road linking Sutavar to Chaumukha.

While the UP Police have registered a murder case, Sankalp Sharma, SP expressed suspicion that the victim has been brutally murdered by someone very close to him.

The deceased victim, identified as Rehman, was a native of Lar town who used to help his father in a grocery store located in the area. According to the information, Rehman had left his house on a bike last night. Police have also recovered the victim's motorcycle from Mile area.

Further investigations into the matter is underway.

In a shocking incident reported from the national capital, a passerby became the victim of a feud between two men after a stray bullet fired by one of the men led to his death. The incident took place in Delhi’s Jama Masjid area on 21st June.

The police on Thursday, June 23 took two men into their custody in connection with the case.

On June 21, Bhajanpura police station received a call regarding a man who was injured in a gun-firing incident. Upon reaching the spot, the police were told that the victim had already been taken to the GTB hospital. At the hospital, the doctor said the victim was declared dead on arrival.

Later, the police registered a murder case and an investigation was initiated in the matter.

There was no CCTV found at the crime spot, so police gathered footage from all the CCTV cameras in the vicinity. However, examination of the footage did not lead to much advancement in the case.

On 22nd June, the police team received information and, accordingly a trap was laid to nab the suspects. On June 23 at around 3 am, police stopped and examined two men based on the information they received.

The two men were named Sahil and Saif Ali. The two men, who are related, at first tried to deceive the police but later confessed to their crime. They revealed that they fired the shot to harm a man named Aman but the bullet instead hit an innocent man.

The police have now put the two in custody and recovered the gun used in the crime.
