The unnoticed part of Priyanka Gandhi's debut speech: 'Behnon aur Bhaiyon'
As the Lok Sabha election is approaching, the Congress party held its CWC meet in Gujarat and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made her debut speech by addressing the crowd as “behnon aur bhaiyon” where the unnoticed part was that she flipped the usual greeting.
Priyanka Gandhi had thought that no one noticed it, but the Mahila Congress chief and MP Sushmita Dev tweeted her response over the fact and praised the Gandhi scion for her effort.
While clubbing the speech where in Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was seen speaking at the rally, Sushmita tweeted, “The speech of @priyankagandhi ji in Gujarat stood out for many reasons. I loved the fact that in her address she changed the order most people follow by referring to women before men & not the other way around,” Dev, All India Mahila Congress president wrote on Twitter.”
In the response, Priyanka Gandhi tweeted “and I thought no one noticed!!”
Tweeting while attending the CWC meet in Gandhinagar, Priyanka quoted Mahatma Gandhi and wrote, “I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.”
While in her first speech, Priyanka said, “Our institutions are being destroyed. Wherever you see, hatred is being spread,” she said, adding, “Nothing matters more to us than you and I protecting this nation, working for it and moving forward together.”
