Telangana horror:13-year-old girl gets pregnant after being raped by three men

In a horrifying incident reported from Telangana’s Mahabubabad district, a 13-year-old girl got pregnant allegedly after being raped by three men, including two minors. The victim, a Class 6 student, was allegedly gang-raped multiple times a few months ago. However, the matter came to light only on Tuesday.

As maintained by a report published in The New Indian Express, it was on Monday night that the victim's mother took her to a hospital as she had been suffering from fever for the past few days. Doctors informed that the minor was six months pregnant. Following this, the minor was questioned, to which she revealed that she had been raped multiple times by three men in the village.

Subsequently, the victim's family registered a complaint with the Nellikudur police and a case was registered into the matter.

In another incident reported from the national capital, a man allegedly kidnapped an 8-year-old girl, while she was sleeping at her home in central Delhi area, raped and murdered her and then threw her body in the Yamuna River in Delhi. The accused has been taken into police custody.

As maintained by the police, the girl's mother alerted the police about her disappearance on August 3, the police filed an FIR at Daryaganj police station on August 4. However, it was alleged that the police did not take the action and therefore, the victim’s mother went to Delhi Women's Commission on August 17. The women's commission sent a notice to the Delhi Police.

Later, some women were cutting grass in the Yamuna Khadar area, when a dead body appeared in a rotten alley on the banks of the Yamuna river. They alerted the police, who immediately came to the spot and took possession of the dead body.

“The post-mortem report of the girl confirmed that before killing the girl, the accused raped her and disfigured her face to hide the identity of the victim. The police then registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested accused Rizwan,” said the police.
