Tamil Nadu horror: 29-year-old widow gang-raped, beaten up, and robbed by four men

In a shocking incident reported from Tamil Nadu’s Namakkal, a 29-year-old woman was gang-raped, thrashed and robbed by four men. They also made a video of the whole incident.

The victim woman filed a police complaint stating that she was with her friend near Veesanam Lake on 19th May when four men surrounded them and robbed her. She was wearing a 12-gm gold chain on that day.

The perpetrators launched an attacked and took her to an isolated location where she was allegedly brutally gang-raped for several hours.

The victim woman also said that the gang attacked her friend brutally, robbed him and took his phone to record a video of the crime.

The perpetrators let them go after threatening to kill them if they told anyone about the incident.

The victim then registered a polce complaint with Namakkal Police. A case has been filed under sections 392, 376 B, 506 (1) and 67 of the IT Act.

Police have arrested the three accused, identified as Naveen Kumar (21), Dinesh Kumar (21), and Murali who works as a painter.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.

In another incident, a 45-year-old man was taken into police custody for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl in the Chhatari area of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

The incident happened when the victim was playing outside her house and the accused, a neighbour, kidnapped her and took her to an isolated area. The man allegedly raped her at that spot.

"Her medical examination is being done. It is our endeavour that a chargesheet should be filed in the case within seven days," Bulandshahr Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh said, as reported by news agency PTI.

A case was lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the accused was arrested.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
