SSC CHSL Exam 2020: Alert! Read this important notification released in view of coronavirus pandemic
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started its tier 1 examination for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam from March 17 onwards. Ahead of the examination, several rumours were doing the rounds about the postponed of the SSC CHSL exam due to coronavirus outbreak in India. However, all news was fake as the examination has started from today. So, candidates who have applied for the examination and will be going to appear for the exam should read the important notice released by the Commission on its official website.
According to the official notification, there will no biometric facility at the exam centre. However, candidates will have to mark their thumb impressions on the attendance sheets at the exam centre.
The notice has been released by SSC in a view of COVID-19 virus infection.
The candidates who will be appearing for SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 examination will have to come along with masks and hand sanitizer (pocket size) and water bottles (transparent).
However, masks will be removed while taking a photograph of the candidates at the Registration desks.
These photographs can be used by the Commission for verification during subsequent Tiers/ stages of the exam.
Commission has also permitted candidates to bring their ball pen for the exam. Besides, SSC has also released important instructions to its service provider for cleaning used objects frequently before the start of each shift of the exam.
Under this recruitment examination released by SSC, candidates will be selected for the post of Lower Division Clerk/JSA, Sorting Assistant/Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operator.
