Smriti Irani takes a dig at Congress, says post of party president 'a family matter'
Launching an attack at the Gandhi family, Union minister Smriti Irani on Monday stated that the post of the Congress president is "a family matter".
On a visit to her parliamentary constituency Amethi, when the Union minister Smriti Irani was queried about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who in recent times has been full of get-up-and-go, could become the president of the party, she said, "This only Sonia Gandhi can tell but the post of the Congress president is a family matter."
To another query on Priyanka's perpetual rap over the knuckles on the BJP, Irani said Amethi and its people can tell everything about this and said the result given by Amethi is an example for them.
