Sad News! AAP leader and former banker Meera Sanyal dies at 57 after a brief illness
Aam Aadmi Party leader Meera Sanyal passed away on Friday after a brief illness.
She has joined the Aam Aadmi Party after leaving her job as the country chief executive of Royal Bank of Scotland, and then, contested a Lok Sabha election in 2014.
Delhi deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has confirmed the death news of the leader on Twitter and said that the country has lost a sharp economic brain and a gentle soul.
She had also served as the head of corporate finance and chief operating officer for ABN Amro for Asia.
However, after her demise news spread, several political party leaders and many people including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have expressed their grief over the death of Meera Sanyal and wrote, 'Extremely sad to hear this. No words to express...'
