Rajasthan: Man rapes 4 members of family, including a minor; arrested

A man has been booked for allegedly raping four members of a family, including a minor girl in Rajasthan’s Dausa district. The accused, later identified as Vishnu Gurjar, runs a 'dhaba'.

According to India Today, the accused raped a woman of the family for one year, but when the woman came to know that the accused was now trying to lure her younger sisters and daughter, she alerted the police and lodged a case against him.

After the woman lodged a rape case against the accused, other women of the family also came forward and approached the police.

The first complaint against Gurjar was registered on 21st January. The same day, the victim’s sister also approached the police and filed a rape case against him. When the other members of the family came to know about the happening, they also approached the cops.

The other two rape cases against Vishnu Gurjar were registered on 23rd-24th January.

In another incident reported from Madhya Pradesh, A bank manager was taken into custody for allegedly raping a minor girl.

Tukoganj police station in-charge Kamlesh Sharme, said on the basis of a statement by the victim, a complaint has been registered against the accused under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

The 53-year-old accused was posted as a bank manager in Mohali. He was later taken into custody from Indore.
