Rajasthan BJP MLA booked for rape for second time in 10 months

A rape case has been registered against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Pratap Bheel for the second time in ten months. He is an MLA from Rajasthan's Gogunda constituency.

In each cases, the BJP MLA allegedly raped the women under the pretense of marriage after he promised to provide them with employment

The a recent case, a woman approached the Ambamata Superintendent of Police and alleged that MLA Pratap Bheel raped her after promising her a job. As per the woman, the BJP leader raped her on numerous instances after assuring her that he would marry her.

Another rape case against the BJP MLA was lodged 10 months back in Sukher. A CID investigation in that case is in process.

In this case, the victim told the cops that MLA Pratap Bheel had promised her a job after she met him looking for employment. Since then, the woman alleged that he kept calling her.

According to the victim, in March last year the BJP leader came to the victim’s residence and raped her. She also said he had promised to marry her.

However, the BJP MLA has repudiated all allegations.
