Rajasthan: 11-year-old girl brutally assaulted, raped and murdered

In a shocking incident from Rajasthan’s Ajmer district on Tuesday, a six-year-old girl was first raped and then killed. The minor victim was brutally assaulted by the accused. The man thrashed the body of the victim with heavy stones and axe.

The horrifying crime was reported from Badi Hokra village in Pushkar. However, earlier reports suggest that the dead body of the minor girl had been taken to the Pushkar hospital.

According to the report, a search operation for the accused is underway while few others have also been taken into police custody for questioning.

The crime came to be known after the minor victim did not reach home. The family members of the victim were atlast able to find her dead body near a bush. Following that, the cops were notified about the matter.

In the meantime, the father of the minor victim works as a daily wage labourer in the same village.

As stated in a report by the Dainik Bhaskar, police said the accused has not been identified yet. The local residents of the area have demanded that if the accused has not been caught in the next 24 hours, they will begin the protest.

The locals from the area congregated outside Pushkar hospital to express their fury against the administration and demanded swift actions.

MLA Suresh Singh Rawat from Pushkar also arrived the spot, while commenting on the incident he stated that," Politics should not be talked about on this, but since the Congress government came to power in Rajasthan, there has been an increase in murder, rape and other crimes in the state," as saying was quoted by the Dainik Bhaskar.
