People with train or flight tickets need not to show movement pass, says Noida Police

After the government announced some relaxation in Lockdown 4.0, Noida Police on Friday said that people who are travelling from Noida and Greater Noida to Delhi need not show the movement pass if they have confirmed flight or train tickets.

This decision has been taken to facilitate the travelers from Greater Noida and Noida in the wake of resumption of train and flight services in the coming days, Ashutosh Dwivedi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, law, and Order said.

In the fourth phase of lockdown, the central government has taken the decision to resume some domestic flights and some trains from June 1 for which booking services have also resumed. Therefore, Noida police have issued an order to all police personnel that people with confirmed flight or train tickets are permitted to travel to the airport or railway stations, Dwivedi said.

Therefore, such people will not need to require any other pass for their movement.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak, the Delhi-Noida border was sealed, only essential service providers were allowed to move across the border.

After the government announced some relaxation in Lockdown 4.0, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Railways also announced to resume their services in the coming days.

Earlier this week, the civil aviation ministry announced a detailed list of guidelines for its passengers. Also, asked passengers to wear a face mask and keep sanitizer bottle along with them while travelling in a plane. The guidelines added that no eatables will be allowed inside the aircraft and only one cabin bag and check-in baggage will be allowed per passenger.

While Indian Railways will be going to start its 200 trains from June 1 and also issued the guideline to all passengers while travelling amid COVID-19 lockdown. The online booking of tickets started on Thursday.
