Patna: Shocking! 25-year-old man kidnapped, forced to marry at gunpoint amid lockdown
As the country has come to a halt due to the 21 days lockdown, however, the crime is just not ready to subsidize. Recently, goons in Patna defied the government and the law by kidnapping a 25-year-old man and forced him to get married on the gunpoint.
The incident came to light when the victim’s father escaped from the clutch of the goons and approached the Jandaha police. As per reports, the incident took place on 24th March when goons in Jandaha market allegedly abducted the man along with his father. They took them to Baruna Rasalpur village where they forced the man to marry a woman at gunpoint.
However, his father escaped and informed the police about the incident who immediately swung into the action and nabbed the accuse. The police have arrested 5 accused including two identified as Nawal Rai and Vinod Rai and have booked them under Section 164. After producing them before the court, Amit was allowed to return to his village in Vaishali while the girl who was married to him is staying with her family.

Well, this incident is not new in Patna as earlier also there have been many cases where an eligible bachelor who earns a good amount gets abducted by a powerful man and is forced to get married to his daughter. Highlighting this incident in 2010 a movie named Antardwand starring Raj Singh Chaudhary, Swati Sen, Vinay Pathak and Akhilendra Mishra.
