Noida: 11-year-old boy kidnapped, murdered by his uncle and two others
An 11-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and killed by his uncle and two other people on Thursday. The accused allegedly lured the victim on the pretext of playing a video game.
The victim was identified as Abhishek. Abhishek's cousin, Kunal called the boy out of his home in Noida’s Phase 3. Kunal's father Manoj is Abhishek's uncle.
Kunal took the boy to an area where his father Manoj was waiting with his partner Roshid Ali. The locals allegedly took no notice of the alarms raised by Abhishek as they presumed it to be a private issue.
In the meantime, Abhishek's parents got worried when they failed to find him in the house. After this, the boy's parents approached the cops and registered a complaint. While questioning the locals, the cops learned that Abhishek was last seen with Kunal and Manoj, The Times of India reported.
The police then began an investigation and took both Kunal and Manoj into their custody. After this, the police found Abhishek's dead body in a drain in sector 62 in Noida.
The accused confessed to the crime and said that they kidnapped the boy for Rs 10 lakh. They, however, killed the boy as they feared being caught. According to the accused, Kunal strangled the boy before dumping him in the drain. The accused were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
