Mumbai: Teacher sends objectionable stickers to 10-year-old girl
In a shameful incident, a 32-year-old school teacher has been arrested for sending obscene photographs to a class 4 student.
According to a report in Times Now, the accused was booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for sexual harassment and stalking and sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
The accused teacher was arrested within 48 hours of the case being registered against him.
According to a report, police traced the girl after a 10-year-old girl victim had filed the complaint against the teacher leading to his arrest. Reportedly, the accused was teaching at the school for the past few years.
The accused teacher was traced by the police team led by DCP Manjunath Singe. The police have seized the mobile phone of the accused teacher.

A similar case was reported in May this year, a 21-year-old woman was allegedly harassed by a class 6 student. The boy threatened the woman to share her morphed pictures if she didn’t engage in ‘sex chat’ with him or pay him money.
The shocking incident took place within the limits of Kavi Nagar Police Station.
According to the woman, the boy was the participant of a common student group on Telegram. He took the woman’s contact number from there.
The woman also shared many screenshots with the police. During interrogation, the accused boy claimed that someone had hacked his mobile phone and didn’t aware of the messages sent to the woman.
