Manohar Lal Khattar to take oath as Haryana Chief Minister tomorrow
Manohar Lal Khattar to take oath as Haryana Chief Minister for the second term on sunday, according to ANI.
The declaration came after ML Khattar was elected as BJP’s legislative party leader. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who was present at the party meeting stated that, “ We will go to meet the Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya, and request him to invite us to for the government.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with JJP leaders and announced the alliance in the state of Haryana.
“Accepting the mandate by the people of Haryana, leader of both parties (BJP-JJP) have come to a conclusion that BJP-JJP will form the government together in Haryana. The Chief Minister will be from BJP and Deputy Chief Minister will be from JJP,” he said.
BJP won 40 seats in the 90 member assembly seat while JJP won 10 seats in its maidan elections. While on the other hand Congress bagged 31 seats and eight seats were won by Independent candidates including Gopal Kanda from Lokhit Party.
